Shooting out of a Hartford 1892 “Winchester” lever action rifle, 24″ barrel with Marble’s tang peep sight. The ammunition is accurate and powerful out to 100 yards. Not sure about beyond that, because I haven’t tried…. yet. The recoil is not substantial, but is more than a regular 45LC. Love this ammo, just bought some more.

I want a good self defense load for my Ruger Alaskan 454 casull I’m looking for maximum stopping power in 45 long colt I’m looking for a 180 to 200 grain JHP running about 1400 to 1500 fps out of a 2’5 inch snub with bout 10 to 14 inches of penetration this load will probably run 1100 to 1215 FPS out of my 2’5 I’m hopeful thank you
